When people come face to face with addiction in family members, friends, loved ones or co-workers their first impulse is to try & help, fix or rescue those afflicted.
Unfortunately that can not be done.
No matter how hard they try they simply can not save their loved ones.
Why? Addiction is the only disease that tells you that you do not have it.
In reality addicts do not have to answer to their family members, friends, loved ones or co-workers.
They do not have to answer to the God of their understanding either.
Ultimately, they have to answer to their addiction & that alone.
